Stress is like a game of tennis…
Imagine a tennis ball is negative energy, someone does not want it, so they serve it to you.
You don’t want it, so you hit it back… game on!
You use all your positive energy in sending the negative back… or like many people you think that taking this stress from someone is your job, ‘I like to help people’ is always a great position to take to create greater stress.
The person serving this negative energy to you (the ball) does not want it back, they just want to get rid of it.
How do you deal with this???
If you want to keep playing you will get drained.
If you keep taking the hits, you get angry, sick and sore.
If you don’t want to play, put down the racquet and step off court, this is not the game you want to play.
If you are stuck on court (in a job) don’t hit back, step aside and let it pass by!
Sooner or later, the person serving will run out of negative energy (balls) and stop playing the game, because you choose not to.
